Hunter Valley

Visit the oldest wine region in the country - the Hunter Valley - famous for it's Semillon and Shiraz grape varieties. With over 140 wineries, chocolate shops, restaurants, golf courses and stunning scenery to choose from, the Hunter is a must for all visitors to see.

Rather then rush through loads of wineries we believe seeing only a few is more appropriate so we can spend more time at each one.

Here are some of our highlights:

• Cross the spectacular Hawkesbury River. Keep an eye out for the breeding grounds of the famous Sydney rock oysters!
  
  
• Irongate Estate - Visit this 21st Century, Spanish-style boutique winery. Sip their house speciality - Sweet Shiraz (designed to go with chocolate cake and pizza!)
  
  
• Enjoy a tour through the winery and learn about the fascinating wine-making process.
